On 4th November, Dr Dan Hughes, founder of DDP, delivered a talk at KidsAid’s conference, “The Impact of Trauma on Children, Young People and Families.”
Dr Dan Hughes is a clinical psychologist specialising in the treatment of children and young people with trauma-attachment problems. Dan spoke at length about his experiences of working with young people and their families and the therapeutic model of DDP and PACE approach. He has many years’ experience working with traumatised children, young people and their families and is a world-renowned author of books on attachment and relational trauma. Many of the delegates attended mentioned how relevant the discussion was to their practice and it helped them to be reflective about their current practice.
