Our Impact

During 2022-23, KidsAid achieved the following:

  • We worked with a total of 257 young people.
  • There was a 75% increase in therapy hours delivered compared to the previous year
  • 4074 therapy sessions were delivered.
  • We worked from a total number of 75 schools.
  • The average waiting time was 6 weeks.
  • We worked with a total of 72 parents.
  • There was a 50% increase in beneficiaries compared to the previous year.
  • 30% of child beneficiaries’ parents also received support.
  • 93 group sessions were delivered in total.
  • Children received an average of 35 weeks of one-to-one support.
  • There was a total of 900 one-to-one sessions delivered to parents.
  • 18 was the average number of weeks parents received one-to-one support.

During 2021-22, KidsAid achieved the following:

  • We worked with 222 local families.
  • 2311 therapy sessions were delivered.
  • We worked from 50 schools across Northamptonshire.
  • 990 therapy sessions were funded by KidsAid.
  • 15% of young people received attachment or family therapy in addition to their one-to-one therapy sessions.
  • 96% of our beneficiaries have reported at least one major change to their mental health.
  • Over 50% of our beneficiaries received therapy for longer than 6 months.
  • The parents of 32 beneficiaries received therapies to support their mental health.
  • The care givers of 67 beneficiaries received trauma-informed psychoeducation and parent support sessions.
