KidsAid Fire Walk

The KidsAid Fire Walk

An inspiring and memorable evening, bringing together supporters for a powerful challenge. Taking place on 13th February 2026 during Children’s Mental Health Week, the event highlighted the importance of supporting young people’s emotional wellbeing while raising funds for KidsAid.

Participants showed incredible bravery as they walked across hot coals to raise funds and awareness for the charity’s work supporting children and families across the community. One participant said, “I was so scared about taking on this challenge, but I am glad to say I found it very exhilarating and powerful.”

The evening was filled with excitement, encouragement and a strong sense of community spirit, as friends, families and supporters gathered to cheer on the walkers. A big thank you to Big Giraffe Events for supporting the organisation of the event, and to The Spinney Hill Pub for hosting the evening.

The Fire Walk raised an incredible £13,500 helping KidsAid to continue providing therapeutic support to children and young people who have experienced trauma.
KidsAid is incredibly grateful for the courage of the walkers and the support of the community.
