At KidsAid, keeping children safe is our top priority. For any safeguarding concerns related to your child while accessing KidsAid services, you can contact:

If you have concerns about abuse, neglect, or your child’s wellbeing, the following services and helplines can provide immediate guidance and support.

Immediate Danger or Life-Threatening Situations

If your child’s life is at risk:

Call 999 for emergency assistance.
If possible, take them directly to A&E.

Urgent Help (Non-Life-Threatening)

If your child needs prompt support but the situation is not immediately life-threatening:

Call NHS 111 and select the mental health option, or use 111 online. This service is available 24/7 and can guide you on urgent care options.
Contact your GP surgery for a same-day appointment. Mental health concerns are just as important as physical health concerns.
If your child is already receiving care from CAMHS or another mental health team, use the crisis contact number provided by their clinician.

Helplines for Children, Young People, and Parents

Childline (for children and young people up to 19): 0800 1111 or 1-2-1 online chat. For children and young people to contact directly.
Papyrus HOPELINE247 (suicide prevention): 0800 068 4141, text 07860 039967, or visit papyrus-uk.org. Available for young people and anyone concerned about a young person.
Samaritans: 116 123, free and available 24/7. Open to anyone of any age who is struggling, needs to talk, or is in distress.
