The Proaction Charity Fun Day and Sponsored Walk for KidsAid, held on Sunday, August 4th, was a tremendous success, bringing together families from Northampton and beyond for a day filled with fun, community spirit, and support for an important cause.
Despite the overcast skies, the enthusiasm and joy of everyone in attendance brightened the day. Proaction, KidsAid, and Glazing Hub were thrilled to be part of such an inspiring event, which saw a remarkable turnout, especially for a first-time event of this kind.
The fundraiser featured a scenic sponsored walk through the community, and it was wonderful to see so many walkers joining in. Leading the way were the event’s founder, Mr. Gayton, and Proaction’s England representative, Alfie Andrews, both dressed in sumo suits, adding a playful and memorable element to the day.
Back at the Proaction academy, attendees were treated to a range of engaging activities, including a bouncy castle, ice-cream van, obstacle course, tombola, archery, football scoring, sponging instructors in stocks, a bake sale, and a martial arts demonstration.
The event truly highlighted the Proaction community, as students brought their loved ones together to raise awareness for KidsAid while having a fantastic time.
We were also honoured to have Northampton’s professional boxers, Chantelle Cameron and Kieron Conway, join us. Their presence, as they visited the gym, took pictures, and signed memorabilia, was a wonderful example of community support, and we deeply appreciate their involvement.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and contributed to making this day a huge success. This event truly demonstrates the significant impact that can be achieved when a charitable organisation and the business community come together.
Special thanks to Proaction Martial Arts and Glazing Hub for their partnership in providing an incredible day for everyone involved.
