Our Annual Appreciation Event was held on Friday, 12th January 2024, at the Sikh Community Centre in Northampton. KidsAid was thrilled to share the highlights of our latest Impact Report for the year of 2022-23 with our incredible supporters.
The event not only showcased the outstanding achievements of the past year but also highlighted the positive impact that emerged through the combined efforts of our dedicated community.
The evening highlighted compelling statistics, impactful data, and heartfelt feedback that illustrates the transformative difference we have made over the past year, and as an unfunded charity, we feel extremely proud of these achievements but recognise none of which would have been possible without our dedicated supporters.
The event served as a celebration of the generosity, kindness, and extraordinary impact of our attendees. We took this opportunity to extend our heartfelt recognition and honour our supporters for their invaluable contributions, whether through fundraising, promotion of services, or the selfless donation of time and resources.
The evening culminated in a special awards ceremony, where individuals who surpassed expectations for KidsAid were honoured as KidsAid Heroes, acknowledging their outstanding commitment to our mission.
Our sincere gratitude to our Chair, Tony, the board of trustees, the dedicated therapist team, volunteers, staff, and exceptional supporters who have each played a pivotal role in our success. The impact of our collective work is evident in our outcome measures and beneficiary feedback, presented in our 2022-23 Impact Report.
As KidsAid confronts challenges posed by the pandemic, the cost-of-living crisis, and cuts in publicly funded services, we issue a sincere call for continued support. We aim to expand our services to new groups and areas, meeting the growing needs of families and making a lasting impact on their lives.
We wish to emphasise the transformative power of collective action and shared purpose, urging supporters not to underestimate the significance of their contributions. Together, we firmly believe that positive change is not only possible but entirely achievable.
