By Charlotte Cornish, Fundraising Manager at KidsAid
At KidsAid, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive – especially those who’ve faced trauma, neglect, abuse, or mental health challenges. Over the past three years, our partnership with Barratt Homes Northampton has helped us move closer to that vision, one child at a time.
When Barratt Homes Northampton first partnered with us in 2022, they didn’t just make a financial commitment – they made a heartfelt one. From day one, their team has shown unwavering support for our cause, raising essential funds, volunteering their time, and championing our work in the wider community.
Thanks to their generosity and genuine engagement, we’ve been able to offer therapeutic support to more than 200 vulnerable children across Northamptonshire. That means 200 young lives given the tools and space to heal, grow in confidence, and rebuild their futures.
Barratt Homes has gone above and beyond, from organising their own events to simply showing up at KidsAid with open hearts and sleeves rolled up.
But perhaps the most powerful thing they’ve given us is belief. Their support has shown us – and the children we work with – that there are people and organisations who care deeply about making a difference. That sense of shared purpose has energised our team and reminded us why we do what we do.
As we reflect on this extraordinary partnership, one thing is clear: corporate support isn’t just about charity, it’s about impact. When businesses like Barratt Homes Northampton step up, real change happens. Children get the support they so desperately need. Families begin to rebuild. Communities grow stronger.
We are so proud of what we’ve achieved together with Barratt Homes – and we know this is just the beginning. To any other business out there wondering if they can make a difference: you absolutely can.
At KidsAid, we’re ready to welcome new corporate partners who want to stand beside us and be part of something truly transformational. Together, we can reach even more children. Together, we can change lives.
If your organisation is looking for a meaningful way to give back – and to see the real-world impact of your support – we would love to hear from you.
