Education Partnerships Trustee

We are seeking a trustee with strong education sector insight to support KidsAid’s growth and engagement strategy, contributing to increased access to children’s mental health services and strengthening long-term, impactful relationships with schools and Multi-Academy Trusts.

Role Overview

The Education Partnerships Trustee will play a key role in expanding KidsAid’s reach within the education sector, helping ensure more children and young people can access timely, trauma-informed support through schools and MATs.

In this role, you will bring strategic insight into how schools and multi-academy trusts operate, directly informing KidsAid’s partnership strategy and ensuring services are aligned with sector priorities and constraints.

You will also provide guidance on education policy, emerging sector trends, and best practice, helping KidsAid remain responsive, informed, and well-positioned as it develops its offer. In doing so, you will support stronger and more sustainable engagement with education partners and strengthen pathways into long-term collaboration.

Impact of the Role

The impact of this role will be significant. By strengthening KidsAid’s position within the education landscape, you will help enable earlier identification of children’s needs, more effective support pathways, and improved access to specialist trauma-informed care. In turn, you will contribute to better outcomes for vulnerable children and support more joined-up, preventative approaches to mental health within schools.

You will be joining at a pivotal moment, with a real opportunity to influence strategy and help shape how children’s mental health support is delivered more systemically across communities, increasing access to life-changing support for children and families.
