Congratulations go to Margaret who recently won an auction prize of a days fishing tuition at the recent charity Golf Day organised by the Rotary Club. Ray Jenkins, who donated the prize, joined Margaret at Grafham Water on 9th July. Margaret says she thoroughly enjoyed her day and successfully landed a fish. A huge thank you goes to Ray who kindly donated the days fishing as a prize.
Students from Northampton High School have recently raised funds for Kidsaid. Sixth form students, Gemma Lumsdon, Lydia Sutcliffe, Kathryn Moss and Charlie Rees formed an enterprise team (called Atlas). On closing their business, the girls decided they wished to donate their profits to a local charity and chose Kidsaid. We were delighted to have received £117.76 and wish to thank the girls for their hard work.
The Gi group are once again supporting KidsAid by collecting Easter Eggs from their staff, candidates and customers this Eastertime to donate to children receiving therapy at KidsAid. Companies have been very generous, these companies include, Hellidon Lakes Golf and Spa Hotel, Avery Healthcare, Harting Ltd, Handelsbanken, Redwood and Highgate House and of course the Gi Group. Congratulations go to Claire Labrum who ran the London Marathon on 13th April to raise funds for KidsAid. Claire completed the marathon in 3hrs 52 minutes and raised £1421. KidsAid are in partnership with Recycle 4 Charity who make a donation for every used inkjet printer cartridge, laser toner cartridge and mobile phone that they receive. We can accept cartridges from Hewlett Packard, Lexmark, Canon, Neopost, Samsung and Del. Unfortunately, we cannot take Epson or Kodak cartridges. If you have any items you wish to dispose of, please drop these into KidsAid House. KidsAid House is open from 10am-1pm and 2pm-4pm, Monday through to Friday. Thank you.
