Odyssey Sports Events raise £580 for KidsAid!

KidsAid are extremely grateful for the support given by Odyssey Sports Events recently. Odyssey held a recent cycling event on the 25th May and donated an incredible £580 from their ticket sales to KidsAid. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from Odyssey and look forward to the next event being held on the 14th September which is a ladies race called the Strada Rosa which is starting in Stony Stratford.

Mark completes Tough Mudder!

Mark Curley has continued to support Kidsaid by completing the exhausting Tough Mudder obstacle course for the second time to raise funds for Kidsaid. Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile obstacle course designed to test all-around strength, stamina, teamwork, and mental grit and is certainly not for the faint hearted! The Trustees, staff and therapists at Kidsaid would like to say a huge thank you to Mark for his commitment and endless energy shown in raising funds for local children. Thank you!

Girls Brigade raise £125 for Kidsaid

The 5th Northamptonshire Girls Brigade held a ‘bag packing’ session at Asda, Kingsthorpe recently and raised a whopping £125 for Kidsaid! Thank you to all the Girls and their Team Leaders who gave up their precious time to raise funds for Kidsaid.  Support such as this makes a huge difference to the lives of local children.

Students from Northampton High School raise funds for Kidsaid

Students from Northampton High School have recently raised funds for Kidsaid. Sixth form students, Gemma Lumsdon, Lydia Sutcliffe, Kathryn Moss and Charlie Rees formed an enterprise team (called Atlas).  On closing their business, the girls decided they wished to donate their profits to a local charity and chose Kidsaid. We were delighted to have received £117.76 and wish to thank the girls for their hard work.  

Kidsaid to benefit from Cycle 4 Cynthia

Cycle 4 Cynthia has welcomed Kidsaid as a new beneficiary for its annual fundraising bike ride.  Kidsaid are set to receive 10% of the monies raised at the event and we are delighted that Cycle 4 Cynthia has chosen to support our charity. To celebrate our move to our new headquarters, KidsAid held on Open Event on 13th February 2014. We were thrilled that ex-England and Saints Rugby player, Ben Cohen, who is also an anti-bullying and anti-homophobia campaigner and recent Strictly Come Dancing star, visited us to unveil a plaque and see our Therapy Rooms. Karla raises £359 for KidsAid!

A very big thank you goes to Karla Pursglove and her team at Ten Pin Bowling at Sixfields who recently took part in an exhausting 36 hour non-stop ‘Bowlathon’ which raised £359 for KidsAid.

National KidsAid Conference
