Odyssey Sports Events raise £580 for KidsAid!

KidsAid are extremely grateful for the support given by Odyssey Sports Events recently. Odyssey held a recent cycling event on the 25th May and donated an incredible £580 from their ticket sales to KidsAid. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from Odyssey and look forward to the next event being held on the 14th September which is a ladies race called the Strada Rosa which is starting in Stony Stratford.

Mark completes Tough Mudder!

Mark Curley has continued to support Kidsaid by completing the exhausting Tough Mudder obstacle course for the second time to raise funds for Kidsaid. Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile obstacle course designed to test all-around strength, stamina, teamwork, and mental grit and is certainly not for the faint hearted! The Trustees, staff and therapists at Kidsaid would like to say a huge thank you to Mark for his commitment and endless energy shown in raising funds for local children. Thank you!

Girls Brigade raise £125 for Kidsaid

The 5th Northamptonshire Girls Brigade held a ‘bag packing’ session at Asda, Kingsthorpe recently and raised a whopping £125 for Kidsaid! Thank you to all the Girls and their Team Leaders who gave up their precious time to raise funds for Kidsaid.  Support such as this makes a huge difference to the lives of local children.

Underwear revival for county charity ride

A former professional footballer from the county will be diving into his underwear drawer in search of a special pair of pants this September as he leaps into the saddle to support Northamptonshire’s favourite annual cycle ride! Margaret enjoys her fishing expedition

Congratulations go to Margaret who recently won an auction prize of a days fishing tuition at the recent charity Golf Day organised by the Rotary Club. Ray Jenkins, who donated the prize, joined Margaret at Grafham Water on 9th July.   Margaret says she thoroughly enjoyed her day and successfully landed a fish. A huge thank you goes to Ray who kindly donated the days fishing as a prize.

Peter Pan and the Lost Boys Theatre Production

Our friends, The Barn Restaurant and Tea Rooms are supporting Kidsaid once again by hosting an outdoor theatre production in the theme of Peter Pan and the Lost Boys. Bring your own picnic or order one from the Barn Restaurant. The Restaurant will be open during the evening serving drinks, sandwiches and snacks. RCI Fashion Show

RCI are holding a charity fashion show on 12 June. All the proceeds raised from this event will go towards six local children’s charities and Kidsaid are one of the charities to benefit from this. The fashion show will be held in the RCI offices in Kettering  and many of RCI staff and their children have volunteered as models for the event.  M&Co clothing store in Kettering are providing all the garments for the evening.  There will also be a select number of sales stalls on […]

Students from Northampton High School raise funds for Kidsaid

Students from Northampton High School have recently raised funds for Kidsaid. Sixth form students, Gemma Lumsdon, Lydia Sutcliffe, Kathryn Moss and Charlie Rees formed an enterprise team (called Atlas).  On closing their business, the girls decided they wished to donate their profits to a local charity and chose Kidsaid. We were delighted to have received £117.76 and wish to thank the girls for their hard work.  

Kidsaid to benefit from Cycle 4 Cynthia

Cycle 4 Cynthia has welcomed Kidsaid as a new beneficiary for its annual fundraising bike ride.  Kidsaid are set to receive 10% of the monies raised at the event and we are delighted that Cycle 4 Cynthia has chosen to support our charity.
